Video: To achieve success, differences in skin color is not an obstacle

The success of football has raised the country's name in the Olympic Games 1980 and at the same time give a great impact on national unity.

Secrets of success at that time was caused by the attitude of cooperation and unity in achieving success in the match. Strong team spirit shown by all players to ensure the success achieved.

Despite playing in a multi-ethnic teams, but the spirit of unity can be clearly highlighted in the match. They played not with the spirit of individuals but they play with their love to their country of Malaysia.

From here we can see, through sports we can create unity despite differences of race and skin color.

Video: Foods, brings harmonious lifes

Malaysians made up of a multi-ethnic society. Thus, every ethnic religious and cultural beliefs have a different. However, because diversity is what makes Malaysia a unique addition to enjoying a harmonious life. Harmonious life enjoyed today are the result of the attitude of Malaysians themselves who are tolerance, respect and openness in accepting cultural diversity in this country.

Malaysia has a variety of foods representing all ethnic groups. Believe it or not the food, we are able to live in peace and harmony. In fact, Malaysians are open to accept other cultures. Openness are what make Malaysia a tourist from outside the tupuan negara.Pada today, we can see many Malaysians like to eat roti canai, tosai and chapatti. These foods are the food of the Indians. Not to forget the nasi lemak breakfast foods should be a number of Malaysians do not think China or India. Nasi lemak is the food of the ethnic Malays. Yong Tau Fu is the Chinese food is often the focus of Malaysian food. Usually the food is easily available at night markets and there is also the seller is Malay. From here we can see the cultural acceptance of foods have been aware of it or not applicable.

Openness and respectful of one another are the keys to a harmonious life enjoyed today in Malaysia.

" MALAYSIA DAY 16 SEPT 2010 "

Malaysia Day is held on September 16 every year to commemorate the establishment of the Malaysian federation on the same date in 1963. It marked the joining together of Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak, and Singapore to form Malaysia. The formation of the new federation was planned to occur on June 1, 1963, but was later postponed to August 31, 1963, in order to coincide with the sixth Hari Merdeka. Several issues related to the Indonesian and the Filipino objection to the formation of Malaysia delayed the declaration to September 16 of the same year. The postponement was also done to allow the United Nations team time to conduct referendums in North Borneo (now Sabah) and Sarawak regarding the two states participation in a new federation.

The formation of Malaysia was made possible through the introduction of the Malaysia Bill to the Malayan Parliament on July 9, 1963, and consent from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on August 29, 1963.

Prior to the formation of Malaysia, Singapore and North Borneo unilaterally declared independence from the United Kingdom on August 31, 1963, thus coinciding with the sixth anniversary of the Malayan independence.

Beginning year 2010, September 16 is a federal public holiday. It coincides with the birthday of the Yang di-Pertua of Sabah.

Forum

In this activity, each group need to send one person form their group member as a panel to the forum. From left, Fazira, Valliamai, Rafhan, Devi(moderator), Amirul, Shahir, Fakrudin, and Chio. Each panel will answer questions from another group based on their group title. My group's title is 'Unity' in economy, social, and politics.

This activity is very interesting because we can see each panel opinion for each question from their reading and findings. Beside that, we can know the answer that always wondering in my mind, like "why Singapore is separate with malaysia', 'what the source of economy at Tanah Melayu when colonial period and so on. we also can see that each panel have a talent in giving opinion and can answer each question clearly to make sure everyone is understand the answer for the question.
